What is Dinner in the Dark?
Probably the most talked about dating event, Dinner in the Dark quite literally is eating a multi-course dinner in complete darkness!
How Does it Work?
Dinner in the Dark events are held in upmarket venues, that have been especially adapted for the evening.
On arrival, guests receive a complimentary cocktail, and have the chance to mingle with other single guests at the bar, before being given an introduction about what’s in store.
Guests are then led into a pitch black resturant one-by-one by waiters wearing night vision goggles.
Diners are seated in tables of six, and start by introducing themselves to others at their table without being able to see them.
The evening involves waiters serving 5 msytery courses (all finger food) and guests chatting and conjuring mental images of the fod they are eating and the people
they are sitting with.
The final course is served by candelight, where guests see each other for the first time. Mingling at the bar discussing the experience with fellow diners then ensues.
